Subject: Tariffs, Price Increases, and Market Instability
To: Our Loyal Customers, Friends, and Business Partners
Dear MaximMart Enthusiasts,
BLUF: On May 12th, the U.S. and the PRC have come together to lower tariffs down to 10% on each side. Currently, the tariffs on microfiber are still totaling around 65%; however, this far less than the tariffs that were in place just last month. We have lowered prices to reflect this change. As such, most products are back to their original post-covid pricing. Moreover, we have actually LOWERED prices on some products since we’ve been actively searching for better products, lower prices, and figuring out ways we can save you money on your microfiber needs.
It is with great excitement that we can make this post. We at MaximMart pride ourselves with giving you the exact same products, or better, at a lower price. It has always been our motto to provide the same for less and we are proving that we keep our promises. Despite the current, as of June 1st, tariffs on microfiber related products being higher than what it was last year, we are bringing our old prices back and even dropping the price on some products.
For example: Detailers rejoice! Our 16x16 Terry and Premium Edgeless towels (365gsm and 500gsm, respectively), are the least expensive they have been in roughly FIVE YEARS! Our wonderful 16x27 Salon Towels (400gsm) are about $5 per case less expensive as well. The wonderful Twist Loop Towels are back under $8 for the large 20x30 size, and the 16x16 are under $4 even when purchasing non-wholesale.
The only thing we have working against us right now is time. This tariff pause is only for 90 days, or 3 months. As such, we will do our best to bring in more and newer inventory. After that, we have no clue what will happen. If a one million percent tariff is slapped on the economy, we will be forced to raise prices again. If the current Fentanyl and other tariffs are dropped, we will once again revise our prices to give you, the consumer, the price you deserve.

We thank you for holding on with us during times like these. We took your frustration last month. We apologize for any inconvenience we have caused. We are glad we can bring the prices back for you.
